The idea for this blog series was originally an effort to improve my teaching. At Palm Beach Atlantic University, our Provost, Joe Kloba, had the wild and squirrelly idea that a Christian university should not merely provide a Christian atmosphere but should provide something uniquely Christian in terms of intellectual life and ideas.

The basic gist is that the story of Pearl Harbor is quite different from the one taught in school or seen in the movies. Not only did Roosevelt know about the attack, he was actively seeking to get us into war all while claiming to be the peace candidate. Pearl Harbor merely provided a public excuse.
